Lady Bug

Lookity, lookity, look, look, look.
I was making a Pink RayGun, but I changed my mind.

Balloon twisting is fun.
Finding pictures in the trees is fun.
Finding pictures in the clouds is fun.
This is how I play.

Personality

Each person that I paint is unique.
Each painting is unique. And each person is unique.

It was great to come across these photos.
I remember this girl - she was so intrigued.
New to face-painting. Didn't know what to exprect.
And she was so expressive.

T-Rex and The Hulk are both Green

I finally got a Mannekin-head that I like.
I can practice on it even if nobody's around,
and the paint washes off so quickly -
usually with just Water. I got it from
The Brittany Beauty School in Levittown
when they were finished with all the hair
on it (and then I got a real neat haircut
for myself too):

Here are 2 faces that I tried on her so far.

Country Club

I have been sooo lucky with the weather lately.
For example, these are some of the pictures that
I did one day at a Country Club. Outdoors by the
pool.

All week, Thunderstorms were predicted. I was
watching the weather and wondering what was
going to happen. Then, the day of the event
(which was supposed to be over at 5 pm), the
predictions changed - Now it wasn't supposed
to rain until 6 pm. Hmmm, not bad. But as
I pulled up the drive, a DENSE rain filled
the air.

Greeted by my client, he needed time to decide
whether or not to take the Party indoors. Time
to decide, I wondered? But okay - It's his time.

Soon, the deluge stopped. It was still wet out,
and he was still
deciding. Hmmm, 'come on man,' I thought - 'I only
have 10-minutes left to set up for your son's party.
Let's not ruin the day.'

But he waited, watched, and

And then

Let's set up by the pool, he said.

Okay - I was glad to get a table with an umbrella
over it. The people who worked at the Club were
running around with towels, drying tables and chairs....
Even my umbrella had to be dried because water poured
down if anybody touched it. I did not put out my Samples.

And it worked! Good call, Man ~ We had a great party
and no more rain!

St Joseph's College

An Agent hired me for some sort of Corporate event
that was held on the grounds of St. Joseph's College.
Funny - when I'm not in charge of the arrangements,
they don't always tell me everything. I was there
All Day,and nobody even told me the name of the
Company that these people were from, what they did,
nothing.....

But there were long lines of people. Five Face-Painters
as well as other activities. And the lines didn't stop
for a moment. We were expected to paint real fast.

Here are some of the faces that I made
(Yes - there were kids there - I figure that his was some
full-family event that was held on the grounds. I really
don't think that these children attended the University):

Look at this. Just a little extra designing at
the eyes, and I get this intriguing face -

When her eyes are closed:

And here's the basic face. Shown with the eyes open, as usual:
