How To Fill Your Life With Good Times

It's so much work,
so much time,
so much to carry,
so much to learn.

And so worthwhile. Like, what else would I do? Only clean my own house?
And take care of my own body? Those are good things to do. But I'm glad
that I have to make money. Because it gets me out there - out of my own
house and out of my own dreams and dramas. Out there where I meet Real People
of all ages. All the Wonderful People - what they're looking for today -
what they're out there for.

Look at some of these Beautiful People who crossed my path.
The woman who lost her camera. The litle girl who overheard her mother's angst phone-call while I painted her face. The boy who's eyes were wide open to see the world. Once again, I'm overcome with Gratitude for having my chance to show them a good world.

Yes - Sometimes I feel resentful - of the people who don't work very much - people who don't seriously try to do their part. People who seem to get away with doing as litl as possible. But I have to remind myself that the way I take care of my responsibilities is such a blessing.
Because I'm really so Lucky to get my chance
to be a small-but-important part of so many Lives.

Beautiful New Yorkers

Finally found a day that I could go to Central Park again - my first time this year! It was a cold day, but I barely noticed until it was time to clean up. I was just so glad to be there. I did Face-Painting, Caricatures, and Balloons. Next to a Juggler. The Central Park regulars - It's so cool to know them.

Look at how tuxedo the Tiger looks with this boy's hat and jacket. I'm so glad that we didn't let the weather make us miss a day of Wonderful Life:

I like this one. I like the way the light colors look on the dark skin:

And here's a pretty design:

I don't get asked for a half-butterfly often. So after I did this one, I was inspired. Wished someone asked for a half-butterfly again, because I wanted to try something with a hidden wing, but it didn't happen. At least, not this time:

And here's a similar painting - full-faced:

I love New Yorkers ~

And here are some of the Caricatures that I drew that day. I use a very direct method - all Markers with No Predraw - when I'm working in this sort of a situation:

Balloonicatures

I've been working on this really neat way to
make Balloonicatures (Caricatures Twisted from
Balloons). Here's one thing I've been working
with - Sort of a Pineapple Base that I then twist up:
