Dress-Up

Kids these days need to develop their ability to
play. Sometimes it seems like they don't even
know how.

Dress-Up, if presented as a character that the
child can relate to, is a good way to get it started -
to show these kids how to let loose with their
own imaginations. Sometimes, the adults have to
almost force the kids to start playing - sort of
jump-starting their engines. After walking them
through it a few times, they get the idea. They
are still kids after-all. Kids underneath those
serious, responsible, smart exteriors which are
usually demanded of them.

I like this Zebra face that I created to match
this little girl's outfit:

face painting, children, party
