This was an interesting Party here. Twins, a boy and a girl. So I was hired to focus primarily on SUPER HEROES. AND PRETTY GIRLY THINGS. Both. That's what my Client said when he hired me. Even though I paint both Super Heros and Pretty Girly Things all the time,
I appreciated the heads up. Because I might just as well have had Sports or Tigers or some such ideas on my mind. Tribals. Or or Dragons. Perhaps a specific Holiday or Season. It just makes it easier for me to do a good job for my Client if he he tells me about a Special Request ahead of time ~ when he Books the Party.
This Client said that anything that the guests request would be fine, but suggestions from me should be for his Themes. Here are a few of the Super Heroes that I painted:
And this next one was fun. I had started painting a Butterfly (a Pretty Girlie Thing). But before I was done, one of the children kept saying "It's a Bunny". I guess it was the Colors of the wings that I was painting? Or perhaps that child just had Bunnies on her mind. Perhaps reading a book about bunnies or something. So instead of telling her she was Wrong, I just changed the Center to look like a Bunny, and I said "Yes ~ It's a Flying Bunny."

I felt particularly pleased with this one. A simple design, but the application came out so very clearly. Smooth. Perfect.
