Girls love to be Princesses

It's the cutest thing.  Whether 2020 or 1920, girls just love to be Princesses.  Probably even back in 1820.  Or even before that!

Here are some photos of some of my Facepainting from a Community Event.  Not specifically a Princess Party, I painted all sorts of designs ~ so I felt surprised when I saw that I had created soooo many Princess designs.  Delighted so many girls.

Here are just a few of them:

4th of July Celebration

Getting ready for this year's Independence Day Celebrations ~
I was looking over some of the Face Painting that I did last year.
At the 4th of July Parade.

I have some ideas for varying the Statue of Liberty Design that I'm looking forward to trying this year.  Perhaps some dark starry backgrounds with silver glitter outlines ~

And another Princess design ~ perhaps with a feathery mask ~
And another design flag design letting a little bit of 'face' show ~
And and

Oh it will be Fun

Ice Cream Social

An Ice-Cream Social.  Happy People.  I particularly liked how one little bejeweled Princess was so sure that we had to give her Nanny a jewel too.  So I included a little jewel on the side of the Roses design this time:

Theme Parties

I like to do the best I can for my clients.  I am usually hired to paint my whole Repetoire ~ just whatever people ask for.  But sometimes I get clients who want me to focus on a particular Theme.  When that's the case, I really Appreciate if they tell me ahead of time ~ when they Book the event.  So I'm Focused on it before I even arrive.

This was an interesting Party here.  Twins, a boy and a girl.  So I was hired to focus primarily on SUPER HEROES.  AND PRETTY GIRLY THINGS.  Both.   That's what my Client said when he hired me.  Even though I paint both Super Heros and Pretty Girly Things all the time,
I appreciated the heads up.  Because I might just as well have had Sports or Tigers or some such ideas on my mind.  Tribals.  Or or Dragons.  Perhaps a specific Holiday or Season.  It just makes it easier for me to do a good job for my Client if he he tells me about a Special Request ahead of time ~ when he Books the Party.

This Client said that anything that the guests request would be fine, but suggestions from me should be for his Themes.  Here are a few of the Super Heroes that I painted:

And this next one was fun.  I had started painting a Butterfly (a Pretty Girlie Thing).  But before I was done, one of the children kept saying "It's a Bunny".  I guess it was the Colors of the wings that I was painting?  Or perhaps that child just had Bunnies on her mind.  Perhaps reading a book about bunnies or something.  So instead of telling her she was Wrong, I just changed the Center to look like a Bunny, and I said "Yes ~ It's a Flying Bunny."

And here are a few more of the Pretty Girlie designs:

Some of the grown ups got involved also.  They were very pleased.
A good time was had by all:

and  the guests who wanted to be decorated on their arms:

I felt particularly pleased with this one.  A simple design, but the application came out so very clearly.  Smooth.   Perfect.
