Doing Too Much

Playing around with some Superman Facepainting Designs tonight.  Glad I try them out in the Studio Before an Event.  Looking good, but I'm feeling like it's best to pull back and keep them simpler.  For me.  Simpler for me.  But they don't look too simple for my Audience.  They would just look cleaner and more confident. 

In the first one, I was trying out an idea for a brick-like pattern in the background.  Ummmm...... no.  I managed to make this one work, but I would prefer a nice blue 'sky' behind the Superman logo instead: 



Then I did a mask with a Superman face and cape.  Fine.  I like the way the person's skin becomes Superman's skin:



But I wondered if Superman's Face might stand out more if I painted it in white.  It's okay, but I liked it better before I filled it in:

Wheel Chair Design

at Starbucks today.  I was studying the Mike Tyson Facepainting Design.  Got the feel for it, and I was coming up with some tuff stuff. 

then I noticed Starbuck's standard Wheel Chair Design on the table.  So I started to incorporate That into my ideas too.

I'm Ready for a Princess Party

Just Add Glitter.  And Jewels.  

Alone in the Studio, just doodling with Princess Designs while listening to Positive Affirmations.  

Some came out better than others.  

I do Not like the Rainbow with the Dark Red.  I removed it from the Supplies that I would bring to a Party, and I just can't think of anything to do with it.

Quick Change

Here I am ~ all dressed up and ready to go out to draw Caricatures at toNIGHT's after Wedding Celebration ~ when I just agreed to Facepaint tomorrow MORNING.  Early.  Special Theme.  And even if I can remember what I usually do to make my Super Fantastic Facepaintings. I would have to figure out how to streamline them anyway.  Because my Client is hoping I will Face Paint 32 Children in One-and-a-Half Hours. 

Quickly going over my Face Painting Supplies ~ looking good ~ and now to get it out of my head and get back into Caricatures.  For a few hours. 

I'll be getting back from tonight's event in the Wee Morning Hours.  And then I'll have to wake up (wake up?  will I have time to sleep?) by 5am to leave the house by 6am all ready to Face Paint Fairyland Creatures of Spring. 

I feel Happy.  It's crazy fun! 

Where Do My Ideas Come From ?

Not sure what I'm going to do with this yet ~ It's Probably not a good idea to paint a Fish Down the nose like this ~ but I was intrigued at this point in the Underpainting of my Tiger Face
