Behind the Scenes

It is Major Facepainting Season again for sure.  So I refreshed my whole kit.  And while I was it it.....

One of the things that I really love about Face Painting is the doodling quality of it.  Once you know basically what the design will be, you can doodle. 

I usually use Black Outlines, so I wanted to check out White Outlines.  They're fine too. 

Then I wanted to see what would happen if I Added Black Outlines in addition to the White Outlines.  I did Not like that at all. 

It's good that I try stuff out at home first.  Hmmm..... what if I make the hearts a little Bigger.....

It's Good to be a Face Painter

I needed Nutmeg Essential Oil, and I didn't have time to order any.  So my Dear Friend left me a bottle of Nutmeg in her mailbox ~ because she wasn't going to be home at the time that I was able to pick it up.

It's a good thing that I'm a Face Painter.  If you were a Face Painter, you'd know what I mean.  Because it was so easy for me to leave this appreciated Thank You Note on her door.  It felt so easy to quickly draw it up in my car.

She'll be able to use it tomorrow ~ Halloween.

I didn't get up to posting these photos right away.  It's just been nonstop Parties for This Facepainter!   It took me a minute to remember where I was painting them.

Oh yes.  A Halloween House Party.  Kids who really Played like kids.  They were having so much fun with their Costumes Facepainting Characters.  Just Play.  They were great!

Ready to Paint Anything on Halloween

Getting ready for Halloween.  For a Face Painter, that means thinking of Skulls and Pumpkins and Witches.  But the real experience is that we have to be ready to paint anything.  Because people come to us with all sorts of costumes.

Halloween Samples

Oh boy ~ Whew ~ My Agent asked me to send him some Halloween Specific Face Paintings. "Okay," I said.  "I've painted at many Halloween Events".

Then, uhoh ~ I don't see a post of Just Halloween Paintings here.  Apparently, people ask for all sorts of Paintings on Halloween ~ not just the  'traditional' Halloween ghosts, goblins (whatever that is), and witches.

As quickly as possible, I ran through my blog and came up with the following Samples for him.  They look like they could represent Halloween.  Oh ~  I'm starting to feel excited ~ Halloween is coming!  There's so much more we can do than just eat candy!
