Gym ~ Grand Opening

I was Facepainting at a Grand Opening for a new Gym location.  Set up in the Nursery Room ~ not crowded ~ so I had the opportunity to Facepaint Parents and Staff as well as the Wonderful Children.  We all had such a good time.  Here are a few of the designs I created.

How these things happen....

It's just because we were all having fun.  Happy Children.  Happy People. 

A lot of people at the Employee Picnic recently.  I did a lot of Facepainting.  And Armpainting.  Some people sat down and requested one, and some people sat down and requested the other.  Okay. 

Big group ~ if anybody had asked for Both Facepainting And Armpainting, I would have said "just one per person ! unless everybody already got one.  To be fair." 

But I was surprised.  That some of the Children had politely just gotten on line for a 2nd Face/Arm/Painting.  Well....  they had waited On the Line a 2nd time.....   so yes...... I have them 2nd designs.  That felt like the right thing to do. 

But oh.  After that, it became a regular thing for people to sit down and tell me wht they want on theeir Face And what they want on their Arm.  The music was Loud, so it would have been unpleasant to scream the explanation of why some people had gotten Both.  So oh well....  many people at this Party got 2 Designs.  They were so happy with them.  And luckily it all worked out well and we didn't have any problems at close-up time.

I even surprise myself

I never know what I'm going to do.  I took out my Facepainting supplies planning on making a quick Princess design for the 4th of July Event coming up, but first I ended up making a flame design.  The idea just kicked in when I made the first stroke.  Can you see that the first background stroke in the center of these 2 designs is basically the same?

Got to Focus ~ Got to feel Calm

This is where I am now.  Surrounded by my Facepainting Party Ideas.  I wish I had been practicing Caricatures, but if I had been practicing Caricatures, I would have said that I wish I had been practicing Facepainting.  Because I'm scheduled to do Both tomorrow. 

First I'll be drawing Caricatures at one Party.  Then I'll be Facepainting at that same Party.  Then I'll be getting right out to my 2nd Event ~ where I will be drawing Caricatures again. 

If I ever get some sleep tonight, I might make time to practice Caricatures before leaving for the Events.  That would be a good idea.  But it's more important that I find time to Do Nothing (that's what I call my Meditation).  So I'll bring calmness and peace to the Events.  So I'll be able to be  focused on what I'll be doing at the Parties.

Contrast

Huh ~ playing around with my Facepaints at home tonight ~ Dreaming up ideas for next weekend's Events.  And I was loving the Pink Roses on the White Stars as I was painting them.  But now that I see it in the photo, I see that the Blue Flowers on the Black Stars look better.  More impact.

It's not that Blue Flowers and Black Stars are better.  It's just that a stronger contrast between Light and Dark is better.  Yes ~ I'm looking forward to making some strong designs at my upcoming Events.
