One of the employees even wanted me to paint the Logo from John Scott's Surf Shop on his face.




And one of the guests wanted simple blue and orange stripes to show spirit at the game she planned on going to later.



Might as well post some more of the great people from this event.  The confident boy who said his mother was going to give him half a wig for the other side of his half-face.  And how he reminded me to fuzz-out the red slash on his friend, 'The Joker's', face.  And and .....

Me Too

Here is another girl from that Fun Event.  I just adored her.  She started with the Tropical Scene on her face, then kept coming back for more.  Some kids do that, and I feel sorry when I have to turn them away when I'm at a big event and it's only fair that each child get at least one before anybody gets a 2nd.  Or a 3rd....

 So like I said, I felt very happy at this comfortable event.  It felt like everybody was comfortable even though it was an open event at a restaurant ~ John Scotts Surf Shack in Westhampton.  The venue made the people feel like they were 'home'.


















And here's another Wonderful Girl ~ she wanted the "I Heart Dogs", the Blue and White Cheek Star, and the Necklace too ~ just like the other girl dreamed up.  But, lol, I had to adapt the necklace to This girls collar.  And I had to adapt the dogs to the size of Her arm.  Can't be exactly the same, but they still felt 'connected'.   They were just so happy.  And so was I.  What great stuff to be involved in.

Fun with the Kids

My Agent asked to see 5 photos from a recent event.  That's great ~ it got me right on the case ~ I usually don't get up to posting the photos for a long time ~ many of them don't even get here at all.

I like to remember the people I meet.  Especially when it's from such an Enjoyable day.  This was an outdoor event in the Autumn ~ the weather was surprisingly perfect.  We were all so comfortable and comfortable with each other.  The kids were so happy and involved with the Face-Painting.

But, now, which photos to send him.  I chose these:

but I felt a need to also include a group picture ~ to show the age of the 'person with the beard'.  My face-painting almost fooled me when I looked at his photo.  Oh I like doing this.  We all had Fun.

Retail Set Up

I don't usually work at street fairs.  But this one was just a few blocks away from my house.  And it felt like a great way to get out there with my Freehand Glitter Tattoos.  (It was the Bully Brigade at the Animal Shelter in Wantagh.)

Getting Ready for the Party

I'm a Professional Party Entertainer.  Been in the business for 16 years already.  So it's surprising that I still need to Prepare before each event.  And I don't just mean putting together Supplies, getting Travel directions, and making sure the right Clothes are ready.  I Still do things like Warm-Ups.  If it's Face-Painting, I'll be thinking about what faces might be chosen at this particular event for this time of year.  If it's Caricatures, I'll be imagining what age-people would want to see what type of exaggerations.  And if it's Balloons, I'll be doing something like this:

I made these in my Office.  I'll be bringing them along as extras to tomorrow's Balloon Party.

I always like this Goldfish-Hat.  Such a simple design, nothing extra.  I'm into minimalism.  Just what you Need to 'tell the story':



I worked on the Sitting Dog a bit.  Discovered that it's best if I make the front legs and body short, so I can have a big enough loop at the base:



Mustn't forget Flowers.  They always go over well at Parties.  Especially the pretty, happy ones that are worn on the wrist:





I feel ready.  In the groove.  I can't wait to get there.  Even after all these years, I feel so happy when I get to the Parties.  Excited to see what will happen.
