That Aha Moment

I feel like I caught this young man's Aha Moment in my photos.
It happens often ~ the Wow when people are thrilled with their Face Painting.  Looks surprisingly transforming.  Sometimes they come back to the mirror over and over and over again.  Amazed at what they see

Self Image

Ever wonder what it will be like to get even older?
No matter how old we are now, we will be getting older.
Ever wonder what it will be like??

Would we see ourselves the way others see us?

Some of us speak of living 'spiritually' ~ we say we think of our bodies as 'just vanity'.  But that might be easier to Say while our bodies are younger.  Ever wonder if it would even be Possible to focus on Spiritual work when our bodies are older?  What message will we understand then?

Child Play

Children seem so grown up these days.  So aware of what's going on around them.  Aware of what they're doing.  So what is it that is child-like?

Ir's the dreaming of things they haven't really experienced.  How to wink like a reptile.  Or present ourselves as 'Love'.  It's finding out how people respond when we throw Beauty in their face.  It's permission to be someone else just because we're wearing a mask:

Boys' Designs

Next.  next.  next.  Sometimes I barely get a chance to see my paintings when they're all done.

I feel happy when I see the photos later.  A chance to remember the wonderful people who are with me for such a short time.  And a chance to see just what I did during that time.

I like what I see here.  It does make it better when I do a little Shading:

Simple or Complicated? It doesn't matter.

Sometimes my face-paintings are complicated. Big hoo-hahs that use my painting skills. Other times they're simple to paint. The complicated part is about relating to all sorts of people ~ including children who don't Know what's expected of them ~ and making it feel quick and easy. Like these. The woman wanted to feel like a vixen. Cool. and Hot :-) She knew about make-up applications and how to sit calmly while it was being done. The boy wanted to strut his stuff too ~ wanted to be cool. But just in case he didn't have patience, I was able to simplify his face-painting. Just some fancy linework. And does it matter whether I made a big Painting or not? Not really. What matters is that I was able to entertain each guest according to what worked in the moment. What matters is that they both had a chance to have fun embodying their images. Photobucket Photobucket And here were also some simple paintings that keep people comfortable and happy. Even if they're not ready to transform their faces, they can feel real special every time they look at their arms: Photobucket Photobucket And back to a complicated one again. I like to paint, to make the strokes with feelings like graceful (this one) or solid (the boy I painted above). And look at how pretty it can make a girl feel (and how tuff it made the boy feel): Photobucket Art is for Fun for sure. I have fun painting and being with people during happy times. And the people have fun living out their fantasies. to hire this artist: optidust@gmail.com (516)579-4706

Wiggly Children

Some people are hard to paint on. Because they don't understand what it happening. But it's so worth it. Photobucket This painting might not be exactly what I was hoping to paint. Had to do stuff like simplifying some of the design. To keep it fast and keep the child comfortable. But it was so worth it. He was so animated when he saw the results. to hire this artist: optidust@gmail.com (516)579-4706
